Senior Database Administrator

• A minimum of 5 years working with MS SQL
• Hands on experience with daily operations of MS SQL 2012 or 2014
• Experience with MS SQL High Availability solutions including AlwaysOn
• Good knowledge of OS Windows 2012
• Azure SQL
• Azure SQL PaaS.
• MS SQL 2016
• MySQL
• Cassandra.

• Administer, test and implement database environments
• Design and develop high-availability storage and disaster recovery solutions to ensure continuous database availability with zero down-time
• Provide database performance monitoring and management
• Modify existing databases and database management systems as and when needed
• Design database infrastructure and provide hardware as well as software requirement specifications
• Coordinate changes to database environments
• Design custom scripts for database backups, index rebuild and update statistics
• Involved in capacity planning of database servers using trends in growth and volume
• Support critical alerts & incidents and troubleshoot as well as resolve performance issues
• Plan and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
