Word Press Developer

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS, & JS experience required
• SASS, PHP, & WordPress experience strongly encouraged
• Mobile enablement
• Data structures and algorithms
• Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of web application architecture
• FTL, XML, & XSLT a plus
• Rational Team Concert a plus
• Degree in Computer Science or a related information technology field is desired

Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate has significant expertise in HTML5, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience with PHP and developing custom WordPress themes and plugins for large-scale
• WordPress site networks would be preferred. Some experience with Rational Team Concert and other markup languages (FTL, XML, XSLT) would also be a plus.
• Support the front-end development of our WordPress platform, including mobile enablement
• Develop web software applications
• Collaborate with local and international developers in a driven environment
• Utilize industry standard tools for software design
• Exercise cross discipline skills including accessibility testing & internationalization.
• Practice agile development processes
• Demonstrate communication and problem-solving skills
• Seek out and learn new technologies and methodologies
• Analyze business and UI requirements to implement applications
• Design, code, unit-test, build, and deploy web applications
