Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
Understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge (PHP)
Experience in cross-platform email techniques for major email clients such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and Apple Mail etc.
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and SVN
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application with adhere to them
The ability to solve problems and adapt quickly to new web design and application trends
Expertise in performance optimization using tools such as YSlow or PageSpeed
Strong communication skills
Problem solving skills

Develop functional and appealing web and mobile applications based on usability
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs
Provide website maintenance and enhancements
Use a combination of markup languages to write web pages
Create a quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines
Assist back-end developers with coding, testing and troubleshooting
Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
