    Requirements

    • A good knowledge of IFRS and accounting principles, policies, processes, systems and best practice, including revenue recognition;
    • Ability to summarize and present complex financial data in an organized, concise manner;
    • 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience; Experience in the advertising/communications industry or similar fast-paced industries would be an advantage, but not essential;
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
    • Advanced English, both verbal and written;
    • Willing to accept new challenges/assignments;
    • Ability to meet and establish deadlines;
    • Attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet;
    • Team player, joyful person.

    Responsibilities


    The tasks to perform can include (but are not restricted to) the following areas / topics:

    • The review of the trial balance in the monthly accounts, the reconciliation with other sources (including spreadsheets);
    • The preparation and follow-up of the Reporting Packages ( as per Group instructions and procedures);
    • Monitor results vs forecasts, as requested by HQ or local management
    • Preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts;
    • Involvement in the annual SOX audit process and assistance in the preparation of the annual audit files, for all group companies;
    • Provide support with financial matters to senior staff and management (ad hoc reports, etc.);
    • Involvement in future systems development and improvement projects.
