EBC HR Solutions is recruiting for one of its clients, reference multinational company in the heating-induction field, a Mechanical Designer for Ilfov county.

Knowledge and skills

• Interest for and ability to understand new technologies that could be useful for the company
• Good knowledge of 3D design tools(CREO) integrated with PDM solution
• Good knowledge regarding general standards used in design work, related to technical drawings, materials, tolerance systems and machine elements calculation methodologies
• Good communication and English language skills are necessary.

• Technical University level (Bachelor degree)/ Technical schools for designers (tech.)
• Mechanical design or engineering background – minimum 3 years

Job summary

The overall purpose of this position is to design mechanical assemblies and parts which represent the mechanical side of company's products. The owner of this position is responsible for designing the mechanical assemblies within all phases of design process: concept design, detailed design, design for manufacturing.

Essential responsibilities and tasks

• Mechanical design for all the parts, assemblies and fixtures which are part of company's Induction products – related to IHM, IPS or SAS fields
• Update the project or documentation during the production phases if is needed – part of the change management process – taking into account the issues occurred or suggestions received
• Respect and follow the guidelines related to design tools and principles approved and implemented within the company – Creo, PDM, ERP, General design rules
• Participate at trainings regarding to design tools and methodologies and is interested and open mind in develop his skills related to them.
• Follow up the product designed by himself during the entire flow of production and give assistance and help to departments involved further (after the design phase).

External contacts:

• Suppliers (purchased parts, machine elements, piping elements and equipment) - in order to obtain the technical details needed for the design work
• Customers - in order to discuss technical aspects regarding to the product which has to be designed to fulfill the customer needs – with the authority given by Mechanical Design Team Leader and Project Manager

Internal contacts:

• All the departments team members and departments/ teams leaders from the company's subsidiary according to the internal communication matrix and workflow.
• Internal IT, CAD – PDM, and ERP responsible
