Requirements:

o Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS v5/v6 and Ubuntu 14LTS/16LTS) administration including installation, patching and troubleshooting
o Experience with VMWare administration (ESXi 5.1/5.5/6.0)
o Experience with MySQL (5.1/5.5) database configuration, administration and troubleshooting
o Experience in network administration (firewalls, switches, and virtual private networks)
o Experience with Apache (2.x) compilation/modules/performance tuning
o Scripting experience using Bash, PHP, Perl, PowerShell
o Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix 2.x/3.x and/or Icinga 2.x)
o Experience with Load balancer and reverse proxy (F5 11.5 and HAProxy 1.4/1.5)
o Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or management information systems or equivalent experience
o Fluency in English (nice to have - knowledge of French)
o Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with customers and the technical support organization
o Ability to multi-task continuously
o Good communication and organizational skills
o Ability to work with minimal supervision within a team environment
o Ability to problem solve and project manage complex activities
o Analytical and problem solving skills that can be applied to solutions for business problems

Nice to have:

o Previous experience in Microsoft Windows Server administration (2003/2008/2012)
o Previous experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005
o Previous experience with Windows Active Directory
o Previous experience with SAN and NAS (Synology using ICSI or NFS)
o Previous experience with Revision Control Systems (SVN)
o Previous experience with Orchestration Tools (Ansible/Chef)
o Previous experience with Cisco ASA or Checkpoint firewalls, VPN's and IPS
o Previous experience with Cloud Services (Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS)
o Previous experience with disaster recovery planning and execution (Veeam, vRanger, VMWare SRM)
o Previous experience with tools like: Bacula, Spacewalk, Kickstart/PXE, Netapp
o Industry certifications such as CCNA, VMWare, MySQL, Cisco, Linux, or Microsoft is a plus
