    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Business or technical field, Master’s Degree Preferred;
    5-6 years progressive buying experience with understanding of various commodities supplied;
    In-depth knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, distribution methods, and global transportation services and inventory management;
    Min 2-3 years experience in leading a team (mandatory);
    Strong knowledge of global business environment and customers' business;
    SAP knowledge would be a big plus;
    Good negotiation and problem resolution skills;
    Good communication and presentation skills;
    Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in Romanian and English, with a wide variety of internal and external customers;
    Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employee.

    Responsibilities

    Direction, control and coordination of all the Purchasing department (indirect materials and services);
    Develop and maintain a reliable supplier base;
    Implementation of relevant actions, coordination and initiation of purchasing and marketing activities with regard to the special features of the regional procurement market;
    Assist in meeting purchasing and contract financial objectives by costing forecasted requirements, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions to meet current cost targets for current and future projects;
    Plan/develop and provide corporate policies, guidelines and procedures that ensure Purchasing is in conformance with written procedures;
    Resolve contract/ purchase order price difference with suppliers;
    Coordination with MGM to achieve saving potentials and purchasing strategies for the local market, actively introduce new local suppliers for the supplier panel;
    Monitor supplier performance through scorecards and supplier evaluations;
    Review and enforce strict adherence to supplier pyramid strategies through active participation in sourcing reviews;
    Maintain open communication between internal departments, management, and suppliers;
    Management according to targets (and delegation), qualifying and motivating, developing potential and competence in order to achieve the set targets;
    Develop long term relations with suppliers;
    Manages special cross functional projects.
