    • Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment containing robot welding process represents an advantage
    • Graduation of technical university with specialty Welding is an advantage;
    • Good knowledge of English is a must; French and/or German an advantage
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) represents an advantage
    • Ability to work in a team and to collaborate efficiently with colleagues, production people and management is a must
    • Availability/willingness to travel (up to 10% of the time) to other plants (Germany, Czech Republic) is a must
    • International Welding Certification is a major advantage (International Welding Engineer (IWE) or European Welding Engineer (EWE) or International Welding Technologist (IWT) or European Welding Technologist (EWT)
    • Note: Certificate must be according to the International Institute of Welding (IIW) or European Welding Federation (EWF)
    • Professional experience in robot welding/automated welding, welding of stainless steel and/or welding of thin material is preferred


    • Support program teams and EPUs for all relevant welding topics to achieve a successful program launch and a robust mass production welding process
    • Support program teams for Feasibility agreement, P-FMEA, fixture design, weld torch accessibility
    • Attend on SE meetings
    • Line integrator (requests and assist)
    • Support EPUs to solve welding process issues
    • Support manufacturing (welding) trials Monitoring, Definition and continuous improvement of welding parameters for mass production
    • Coaching of EPU teams – especially operators and weld robot setters
    • Implementation of lessons learned from CoC Joining for mass production
    • Implementation of new welding technologies for mass production based on guidelines from CoC Joining
    • Attend global joining network
    • Support macro sections evaluation process
    • Definition of inspection process for macro sections in agreement with production quality – section area of weld seam and checking frequency
