Supplier Quality Engineer

Tenneco is present in Romania with the Global Shared Services Center in Bucharest and also with the Braking products plant in Ploiesti, Prahova.

Essential
• BS or MS Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent
• 5 years experience in Quality, with a specific focus on suppliers management
• Automotive experience
• ISO 9001/ ISO TS 16949/ IATF 16949 certified auditor
• Experience of working in complex and international organizations
• Experience of volume manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of quality management system international standards (ISO9001, ISO/TS16949)
• Knowledge of specific automotive tools: Statistical Process Control (SPC), FMEA (both Design and Process), PPAP, APQP, MSA

• Drive activity to guarantee that the supply base delivers the requirements of the receiving F-M sites
• Execution of initial assessment activity through QMS/production process auditing at suppliers
• Periodic monitoring of supplier performances vs assigned targets
• Implementation of all necessary actions in case of poor/unsatisfactory performance
• Convening meetings as required with suppliers
• Completion of periodic audits at suppliers
• Involvement into supplier development activities aimed at improving supplier performances
• Promotion of and delivering assistance to the supply base during PPAP preparation/approval and problem solving activities
• Support F-M Braking plants in managing non conformities with suppliers, based on an escalating approach.
