Employee Experience Generalist
We are currently looking for YOU, as a new member of the SNC Lavalin FSSC HR team. Is there something that resonates with in the description below?
YOU are a junior HR generalist with an enthusiasm for creating a great place to work. YOU are a geek on maintaining an organized and fun work environment.
YOU, as Employee Experience Generalist will be accountable for the delivery of HR services such as pre-employment support, onboarding and assimilation, HR administration, employees’ relations and internal communication to enhance employee’s experience. YOU understand that HR is more than processes – it’s about employee experience and creating a collaborative culture.
Qualifications:
Passionate about teamwork, communication and an optimistic outlook
Experience working in a shared-service environment
Responsive, customer service approach to employee needs
Attention to detail and thoroughness an enthusiastic and positive approach to tasks
Strong organization & time management skills
Common sense and sensitivity with regards to mediation and counsel, keeping confidentiality
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Good understanding of HR Systems, experience in using payroll system (Charisma) is considering a plus
Working knowledge of labor laws and government regulations
Proficiency in using various ERP systems (Revisal/ Charisma)
MS Office tools knowledge (Excel, Power Point)
Provide collaborative support on a multitude of employee-focused initiatives ranging from professional development and engagement to internal communication. You will be our on-the-ground support for all things pertaining to cultivating company culture
Preparing documents for employment (employment offers, contracts, internal documents and forms)
Informing departments and / or suppliers on new employees; transmitting them all the information needed for employment (supplier for medical exam, HSE training, benefits platform)
Preparing personnel file
Maintaining the personnel file; updating employees documents (CI, marital status, etc.); addendums, decisions suspension
Release of documents requested by employees or state institutions on wages
Preparing the necessary documentation to employees leaving the company: certifications, internal forms, decision cessation
Keep an up to date HR personnel database according to legislation
(Charisma, Revisal)
Distribution on pay slips, meal vouchers, transport tickets
Provide support and advice where necessary to all employees on policies and procedures
Keep up to date with employment law and suggest/contribute to changes/improvements/updates to current policies
