Senior QA Automation Engineer - Bruxelles

Our company was founded in August 2015 and our main objective consists of outsourcing the software development services provided to the European clients of Karalius Group, which unfold their activity in Romania. Another fundamental objective for us is broadening our area of activities, managing to offer our services to other potential interested companies, based in Bucharest.

Technical skills

10+ years extensive testing experience of client - server and web applications;
Experience with design, implementation and management of testing artefacts through testing tools;
Practical experience with different interfaces, i.e.: Web, REST, SOAP
Creation/maintenance of automation scripts for functional and non-functional requirements;
Practical experience in continuous integration testing
Practical experience in test automation
Practical hands-on experience of tools, such as : Selenium, SoapUI, Jmeter, Jira
Experience in various operating systems
Experience in utilizing various methodologies
Utilization of various Testing tools will be considered a valuable asset
Experience with design and execution of security related tests will be a valuable asset
Ability to undertake testing activities in JAVA as well as in Microsoft environment.
Ability to provide guidance to teams on working processes and methods for testing the software
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts
Knowledge of Java technology
Knowledge of database management systems
Ability to proactively learn and analyse new software architecture concepts.
Language skills

Excellent oral and written skills in English. The role involves drafting papers for technical and non-technical audience. The success of the position is the ability to construct a compelling case for a certain solution, so that the "customer" will rally around the respective proposal
French language is a plus.
Knowledge of other EU languages is an asset

Tasks (Automate Testing, verifying applications against scope, reporting, monitoring, raise issues, assess status, verify resolved issues)

Participation in technical working groups and progress meetings
As part of the analysis process, production of solution specifications, software architecture documents, including:
Collaboration with business analysis team, development teams and other members of the test team for constructing a vision of system test strategy which shared across teams.
Analysing and assessing the requirements on feasibility, efforts and risks
Review analysis document and provide comments from attesting perspective (functional acceptance criteria).
As part of the testing process :

Production of testing documents such as: Conformance testing protocol, Test strategy document, Test plan, Test scenarios, Test cases, Test reports.
Prepare test data and test scripts with a view to automate the regression testing process.
Execution of test campaign using a variety of automation tools, i.e.: Selenium, SOAPUi, Jmeter.
Defect tracking and follow-up in Jira.
Prepare management report on the state of the software quality.
Coaching of new colleagues on the testing process and methods.
Should prepare notes and presentations for external stakeholders in line with area of expertise.
Documenting or coordinating the documentation of the system specifications ( use cases, non-functional features, security features), and of architecture document, required for:
Implementing the system.
preparing test cases
publishing the solution documentation to external stakeholders having the need to know
