    Requirements

    Requirements

    - Strong programming experience in Python is required. Experience with R and/or SAS is a plus
    - Knowledge in software development orientation is a plus (agile, Git, Jira, continuous integration,…)
    - Spark skills would be a plus
    - Experience with databases and SQL language
    - Fluency in English
    - University degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or any comparable quantitative discipline

    Experience

    - Experience in applying modern machine learning and artificial intelligence models (supervised and unsupervised, such as gradient boosting and deep learning) in a business context
    - Very good knowledge of data processing and data visualization

    Responsibilities

    Job role

    - Develop, maintain, improve and run predictive models for claims
    - Current focus is on detecting potential fraudulent claims, subrogation potential and claims triage at first notice of loss.

    Responsibilities

    Within the analytics team you will work together with other data scientists on global projects regarding fraud detection, claims automation, claims subrogation and related topics in an international work environment.

    - Producing daily scores for existing models (based on data in AGCS Claims systems and other data sources)
    - Data plausibility checks/quality assurance & model validation
    - Working with regional claims subject matter experts as required to explain models and receive inputs for improvements and extensions
    - Support development of new Machine learning algorithms and models for prediction and improve existing models and extend them to further Lines of Business and Regional business units
    - Utilizing verbal and critical thinking skills to gather information and data; making sound decisions based on a mixture of analysis and judgment
