Database Administrator

The Software Development Competence Centre, established in 2010, is the internal software service provider in Medicover specialized in capturing and translating the business requirements into information systems and develop the software applications across businesses in the Healthcare Services and Diagnostic Services.

If you have:

• Very good knowledge of SQL/ T-SQL, MS SQL- Server Script, ETL Workflow development;
• Relational Database Design know-how;
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Excellent level in English language - both spoken and written;
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member;
• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure and complying with strict deadlines;
• Pro-active behavior, good organization and time management skills;
• Provide a trusted partnership and commitment to the company values, in order to deliver a high quality of services to our customers;
• Relevant university degree in IT or in other related domain;

In this role you will:

• Actively contribute to the database design back-office, front-office & Mapp out the conceptual design for a planned database;
• Write database documentation, including data standards, procedures, domain data (sensitive information, personal/medical data);
• Design and deploy automated data management processes (retention and removing obsolete data);
• Ensure that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly & Maintain data standards;
• Handle data migration and monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast responses to front-end users;
• Refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model;
• Ensure the user access, security & design access permissions and privileges;
• Work closely with IT/service team and software development team or database programmers;
• Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security;
