    The primary function of The KEU Total Rewards Assistant Manager role is to support the design and implementation of Global and European Total Rewards strategies, programs, and policies in KEU. This includes the areas of Benefits, Compensation and Recognition.



    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    You will be part of our success by:

    Contribute to the design and development of compensation and benefits programs in Europe, through identification of internal/external trends, insights, and best practices;
    Provide support for implementing European and Global policies, processes, practices and tools, working with GBS, HR business leadership, and business unit leadership;
    Support the annual Compensation Planning, Job Evaluation and Global Benefits Management processes for Europe, with focus on continuous improvement philosophy, market competitiveness and alignment with Global Reward policy;
    Work closely with internal HR teams to understand local reward challenges and develop plans and business cases to address local needs whilst balancing European and Global standards;
    Remain current on country and local benefits legislation changes and adjust programs as necessary;
    Provide guidance to GBS reward teams and manage reward escalations to resolve them effectively (first point of escalation from GBS reward team). Ensure good working relationship with GBS, update GBS team on changes to European reward and ensure effective processes between COE & GBS;
    Drive standardized and automated program design and delivery. Ensures collaboration between TR team and other COEs and the GBS HTR organization in planning and supporting new programs or program changes;
    Contribute to designing and implementing European and country specific reward projects balancing Global and European standards with local market practices and business needs to deliver fit for purpose outcomes;
    Support the development of internal and external European Reward network;
    Support business facing HR teams on reward principles, processes, escalations and ways of working;
    Coach, support and mentor GBS HR generalists functions or GBS reward functions;
    Help evaluate effectiveness of Europe Reward programs;
    Focus on HR outcomes that will have the biggest impact on the business;
    Serve as a change agent, bringing in new and innovative ways of working. Fully utilizes Kellogg change methodology for implementation of new programs and program changes.

    Responsibilities

    WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?

    Required:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field;
    Working experience in the Total Rewards area (Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition);
    International experience in Total Rewards;
    Working knowledge of reward strategy, philosophy and principles;
    English language proficiency;
    Flexible, problem solving approach and strong team player;
    Excellent attention to detail and good numerical and strong analytical skills;
    Strong customer focus;
    Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
    Certifications in Total Rewards (e.g. W@W, CEBS, CIPD) is preferred but not required;
    Experience at large multi-national consumer packaged goods company;
    Experience with HR Software, in particular SuccessFactors;
    Experience working to service level agreements in a customer driven environment.
