Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Good knowledge of SQL language
Solid understanding and experience working with software development processes
Ability to work as an individual contributor, providing technical expertise to team, as well as work as an effective, collaborative member of the team
Ability to monitor and tune database performance, to administer database access and security and to implement backup and recovery procedures
Ability to understand the needs of the customers and to be able to design, build and modify databases based on their requirements
Analytical skills: ability to understand problems, troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
Fluent in English

Additional skills are a plus:
Knowledge of Java and OOP, familiar with design methods/technologies, UML analysis
Experience with No-SQL
Knowledge of DB drivers and Persistence Engines
Networking knowledge
Linux knowledge
Experience working with international teams
Experience in large-scale multi-tier software applications

Designing and developing database architectures
Modifying databases and products according to client needs
Creating reports on databases
Providing assistance to others in topics related to data management
