    Cerinte

    - Minimum Degree, BSC/BS/BA on Faculty of Economy and Administration and/or Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or international equivalent will be an advantage) or equivalent relevant experience desired
    - Profound accounting and taxation knowledge and substantial professional experience, 2-3 years accounting and taxation work experience is a must.
    - Preparation of statutory accounts to filing stage, under local GAAP is essential
    - Expertise of SAP ERP System
    - Relevant work experience in fast moving industry is a plus
    - Very good knowledge of Excel
    - Business fluent in English is a must

    Responsabilitati

     Taking part in local Financial Statement preparation in cooperation with local Ernst and Young and Statutory Accounting team members – securing finance documentation in compliance with local Accountancy regulations and requirements.
     The booking of statutory differences between US and Local GAAP in Statutory SAP environment would be also a crucial part of statutory preparation and checking the monthly equivalences of Main and Statutory Local Ledger’ balances in both SAP environments including monthly reconciliation of local books in Special Purpose Ledger with Main Ledger .
     Playing a role of local window persons towards various Authorities in Romania. Collecting information for authorities in cooperation with statutory streams and preparing overviews and explanations. Tax Audit-works due to tax inspectors’ requests. Overall and Direct (mainly VAT) support in Tax Investigations by collecting and preparing final explanations in local language. Representing company's interests to ensure the document collection requested by tax inspectors in time and well.
     Romanian taxation knowledge must be also thorough and up-to-date in order to represent the company’s interest with a properly professional communication at tax office or during tax audits.
     Ability to support Statutory Accounting colleagues in other East and Central European countries in case of their absence in order to keep official statutory submission deadline. Experience in Statutory requirements fulfillment in other East and Central European countries will be an advantage to complete this task.
     To contribute to the East Statutory Finance cluster jobs /activities covering countries in East and Central European region, by close cooperation, knowledge sharing following similar processes and Way of Working in Statutory finance area
     Liaise with key parties such as internal and possible external audit, and other 3rd party contracted vendors for tax returns and other tax support.
     Ensure effective operation of third party engagements with key parties for tax reporting and other statutory reporting.
     Preparing local statutory reports (apart from FS, VAT and Intrastate) including statistical reports in Romania, taking full responsibility for accuracy and timely submission and the collection of car tax details.
     Support VAT team request on indirect tax reporting such as VAT returns assisting in VAT tax return preparation by providing necessary data to VAT central team.
     Deliver financially accurate financial information, compliance, efficient proactive finance support and technical finance expertise to internal customers.
     Support Global Tax Office (GTO) requests with the provision of general ledger (GL) information and for the preparation of tax returns.
     Support Global Treasury Services (SGTS) requests with the provision of GL information.
     An active role in the month-end close activities, such as preparation of journals for posting or rebooking for statutory purposes, cooperation with Central Finance in case of any problem or question.
     There also can be a request in preparing supportive documentation for statutory purposes in the payroll process and supporting the central payroll reconciliation procedure, if necessary.
     Moreover, strong involvement in various central European projects is also required.
     Also an active assistance for local Sales and Marketing colleagues in Romania Branch is also needed, if necessary.
     It is also expected that this role will be supportive and act as advisory body for local sales and marketing colleagues being able to explain local legal and tax legislation constrains supporting their sales and marketing activities with providing the relevant taxation background in their decision-making.
     Ensure all finance and commercial activities in the Country and Cluster comply with the effective application of agreed Corporate Accounting Policy, SOX Control Procedures, local statutory requirements and Governance Systems.
     Support document retention in line with company policy and legal requirements. Implement and enforce standardized finance & accounting processes and procedures in Romania.
     Ensuring that all local finance/accounting documentation in Romania will be stored safely, in order and available for eventual authority inspection.
     Identify and implement process improvements to continually balance efficiency and improve service to the front line business – aligned with the principle of the Global Process Model.
     Optimize tools and systems available to provide automated financial and operational information.
     Mitigate, advise, communicate and resolve any issues which might affect Finance Accounting performance levels or Countries and Cluster information.
