Java / JEE Developer

Your Role:



The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the development and deployment of software applications for EU projects.



We are currently looking to extend our Java/JEE development team in Bucharest branch. Here, we run many type of projects starting from the classic Spring and Hibernate enterprise stack up to a more lighter stack, JavaScript backed by light-weight JSON services.

Key technologies used in our projects:

- servers: WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Railo, Coldbox, Tomcat

- databases: MySQL, DB2, Oracle, Postgress - database versioning: Liquibase

- testing and integration: JUnit, Jenkins, Selenium, Arquilian, Karma (test runner for java script), Protractor, Grunt (integrator, testing, server etc)

- back-end: Spring, Hibernate, JPA, EJB, Java EE CDI, REST services (JSON), Web services (SOAP), JMS, Swagger

- front end: JSP, JSF, Coldfusion, Angular JS, jQuery

- enterprise integration: Apache Camel, Mule ESB, Oracle ESB, Spring Integration

- authentication/authorisation: LDAP, CAS, ApacheDS, Active Directory

- virtualization: Docker



If you have at least 1 year of experience and you want to extend your knowledge using the leading Java tools and technologies, come and meet us. You will be responsible for the development of new software for our products, support and continuing improvement of existing software.

Requirements

• 1+ years of proven experience in software development

• Strong knowledge of Java programming language;

• Good understanding of Java EE technologies: Servlets, JSP, JPA, Hibernate, JMS, EJB

• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases concepts;

• Knowledge of JSF technology will be a plus;

• Knowledge of Spring framework will be a plus;

• Knowledge of REST Web Services will be a plus;

Education:

• University Degree in Computer Science (Automatics and Computers Faculty, Informatics, Faculty of Cybernetics)

Languages:

• Fluency in English
