Marketing Intern/Part-time Programme Coordinator

Angloville is the largest provider of language immersion programmes in Central and Eastern Europe. We are currently present in Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

We are looking for a highly driven marketing intern to join our Bucharest team. This is an exciting, multifaceted role focusing on marketing with the added opportunity to gain experience in leadership and customer service. You will help us expand our social media presence and build awareness through a variety of activities. Intern would have the opportunity to attend AV events, network with some of the top professionals in Romania, and be strongly considered for full time positions after graduation. This is a startup environment with lots of freedom, the ability to shape our marketing strategy and hands-on learning experience.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Marketing, social media

• Shape our social media strategy, manage and expand our social media presence on multiple platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)
• Create, manage and optimize online marketing campaigns and landing pages
• Engaging with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook
• Assisting with the end to end process for the development and execution of email marketing campaigns for product news, sales promotions and events.
• Pulling data and analytics from our social media platforms, preparing reporting and analysis of Marketing campaigns.

PR, content

• Research and write content to be used in articles, on our social media channels, blogs
• Preparing and supervising the production of promotional photographs and videos and films
• Build relationships with partner institutions
• Research new media contacts, influencers, and organizations for AV events
• Organize community-building events
• Reviewing and Improving content for the organization’s website

Programme coordination (depending on your availability)

• Lead our intensive junior language programmes for teenagers. You will be involved in 3-4 week-long programmes over the course of the summer
• The role includes leading activities for our Romanian and English-speaking participants, preparing materials and schedules, and making sure everyone is having a great time

What we’re looking for

• Ongoing university/college studies
• Proven strong interest in marketing (studies, or work experience) – social media, online marketing experience is a plus
• Familiar with IT-tools and social networks
• Native-speaker in Romanian AND highly proficient in English (active and confident use in both speaking and writing)
• Open, communicative personality, great interpersonal skills, creativity, imagination and initiative
• Strong creative writing skills in both Romanian and English
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Ability to work at least 20 hours per week
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress is a plus
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, group leadership is a plus
