A software tester is involved in the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment. They conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose. Software testing involves the analysis of software, and systems, to avert risk and prevent software issues.
SpamExperts is looking for an intern with experience in coding and debugging. Do you want to contribute to Open Source projects, test filtering systems, and take part on creating great full-stack internal tools? Join our international email security team and work from our office in the center of Bucharest!
Computer Science student or fresh graduate
Excellent analytical and math skills
Good grasp of basic programming principles
Basic Linux experience
Basic SQL knowledge
Proficient use of the English language, spoken and written
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Python & PHP programming languages
Knowledge of SMTP and DNS
Familiarity with repositories
Ability to create automated tests
Familiarity with MySQL / MariaDB skills
Working on testing of our Open-Source projects (check out SpamExperts projects on Github.com)
Working on testing of other internal projects
Writing automated tests using tools like Codeception
Documentation and testing new software applications
Working on testing bugs
Meeting project deadlines and working closely with our development team to achieve that
Following the training plan together with the mentor
Participating in team meetings
Reporting directly to our QA Coordinator
A part-time paid internship position
The possibility to move to a full-time contract after the internship program ends
