Senior General Ledger Accountant

Responsibilities

• Responsible for fixed asset accounting and related compliance controls.
• Preparation of accurate balance sheet and reconciliations and for providing fixed asset information
• Process owner for accounting processes including sales returns and billing adjustments 
• Manage calculation and communication of accounting
• Independent ownership of month-end closing activities 
• Responsible for the accuracy of General Ledger accounting entries and reconciliations
• Ensure an effective internal control framework around General Ledger, closing and financial reporting activities is maintained
• Manage ad hoc requests, participate in projects as/when required

• Bachelor degree
• 3-4 years of work experience
• Strong accounting & finance knowledge
• Good understanding of Income Statement (P&L)  and Balance Sheet (B/S)
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken 
• Attention to detail 
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge 
• Basic ERP knowledge (SAP) 
• Ability to work under pressure and to set priorities 
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
