    GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT


    Responsibilities: 

    • Independent ownership of month-end closing activities 
    • Responsible for the accuracy of General Ledger accounting entries and reconciliations
    • Responsible for executing a number of specific accounting processes within General Ledger accurately and timely; working closely with the local teams as needed to ensure accurate and timely completion
    • Ensure an effective internal control framework around General Ledger, closing and financial reporting activities is maintained
    • Manage ad hoc one-time requests, participate in projects as/when required
     

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor degree
    • 1-2 year(s) of work experience
    • Proficient in English, both written and spoken 
    • Basic accounting & good finance knowledge
    • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
    • Basic ERP knowledge (SAP) is an advantage 
    • Attention to detail 
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
