Senior Java J2EE web developer

Tenneco is present in Romania with the Global Shared Services Center in Bucharest and also with the Braking products plant in Ploiesti, Prahova.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Experience in web development using J2EE frameworks / CMS platforms (5+ years)
• Basic experience with JavaScript, JSON, JSP, CSS, AJAX, JQuery
• Experience working with REST / SOAP API's
• Basic knowledge of Ajax and JavaScript
• GNU/Linux or other *nix command line tools
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies and frameworks
• Experienced with version control (Git)
• Nice to have: Technical development experience with CQ5/6, AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) + basic knowledge of dispatcher and various configurations


PERSONAL SKILLS & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
• Must possess a disciplined approach and commitment to delivering on Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
• Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development
• Implementation and support experience is highly preferred
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is preferred
• Ability to effectively work in a team where other team members may be located throughout the world
• Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
• Friendly attitude, strong communication and relationship building skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to travel

• Develop high-performance, reliable and maintainable code when implementing architectural improvements
• Collaborate with other technical team members to design, implement, quickly troubleshoot and resolve any critical issues
• Stay in-tune with the latest technologies; proactively identify areas for improvement and propose viable solutions
• Determining the operational environment for new applications / solutions
• Contributing to the development of and aligning to the IT corporate standards

You will work collaboratively with our global marketing team, design technologists, product owners, business analysts and UX designers, in developing an awesome customer experience.
