    • Mandatory: Basic software development skills in Java, Eclipse Ide
    • Optional: Knowledge about: JAXB, Code style/Java Coding rules, Hudson, Sonar, Maven, SVN

    Responsibilities

    The R&D-AT AED team is developing and maintaining automated test solutions at product and system level for various areas in Thales AT Rail Signalling area.

    The test solutions consist of a bundling/enhancing Java based test ecosystems/environments having the purpose of testing different components from the Solution level.

    Internship Topic:

    Continuous integration system

    The main purpose of the above mentioned tooling’s is to further develop the existing continuous integration system we already have in place.
    The system has to be configured to send errors to the developers, errors that had been found during automatic test run, via e-mail.
    The JUnit test suites need to be developed/extended to reach a higher degree of code coverage.
    Participants will receive support from our experienced team members.

    Specific tasks will be:

    • Develop Junit test for an existing component (from OMC context)
    • Improve the existing test environment based on the user (testers, test manager) requests.
    • Enhance the existing tools capabilities (develop new xml Parser feature, refactor some pieces of already existing code)
    • Document solution
    • Present results to the team
