Your Python programming skills will enable you to develop independently solutions addressing various topics. Performance objectives:

- You will analyze files, decide if they are good or malicious and adapt our detection in real-time in order to have a direct positive impact on millions of customers. Our goal is to have the best and most reliable detection!
- You will develop fully automated solutions to harvest software from all over the internet as well as research on possibilities how to install them automatically without human interaction.
- You will work with our internal backends, containing hundreds of millions of entries, with real time information about malware detections all over the world, hunting for false positives as well as for undetected malware.
- You will address topics and develop solutions in agreement with other teams, which have influence of the performance of the whole department.

As member of Avira’s Protection QA team you will significantly contribute to improve the quality of Avira’s detection technologies in constant interaction with an international team located in Germany and Romania. You will analyze files and separate malicious from good ones. You will develop independently solutions to cope with an always growing amount of data in order to keep Avira’s QA systems up to date. You will research on various topics and develop own solutions for it.
