Linux Engineer

Stefanini IT Solutions was founded in Brazil by Marco Stefanini in 1987. Today, Stefanini is a global services provider, delivering offshore, onshore and nearshore outsourcing, IT consulting, systems integration, application and strategic staffing services to mid-size and large companies around the world.

Technical requirements

• ITIL foundation certification would be an asset.
• You have a thorough experience in designing, implementing, and maintain various software, tools, platforms and networking infrastructure including monitoring systems, anti-virus software, terminal services, Apache, TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN/WAN, security tools (FW/VPN/…), High Availability clustering, NAS, SAN;
• Enterprise UNIX/Linux experience;
• Scripting language experience (Perl, Shell, CGI, Bash);
• Knowledge of Relational Database Management. (Oracle, MySql);
• Good knowledge of Web based software development tools & languages (HTML, PHP, C/C++ is an asset);
• ITIL foundation certification would be an asset.

• Configure and maintain Stefanini Linux server platform;
• Configure and maintain mail gateway systems, based on PureMessage appliances;
• Configure and maintain Linux servers for Stefanini customers;
• Support our senior Linux engineer with building new Linux based solutions (making use of standard LAMP environment, FreeRadius , … );
• Schedules and performs software patches, upgrades, and/or purchases;
• Configure and maintain Antivirus E-mail products;
