    - Ability to: supervise, train and evaluate staff performance; prioritize and coordinate staff projects and workload; develop and formulate financial policies and procedures; interpret and analyze complex financial transactions; prepare accurate financial statements, reports and analyses timely; establish and maintain fiscal procedures and records; communicate effectively with employees; provide training to the employees in processing financial related transactions; and establish and maintain effective working relationship with co-workers.


    - Education: Graduation from a recognized university with a degree in accounting, finance, public or business administration or a closely related field.
    CECCAR member, with minimum 3 years post qualification experience.

    - Experience: 10 years of professional accounting and data processing experience with at least 2 years in other similar position. Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Ability to learn and retain complex information, terminology, policies and procedures; work effectively with a wide variety of people; maintain composure under difficult circumstances; analyze accounting systems and procedures; organize and supervise the work of others.

    Responsabilitati


    • Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
    • Achieves accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
    • Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
    • Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
    • Maintains accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
    • Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
    • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
