Senior Claims Portfolio Analyst

Responsibilities:

•   Monitors and supervises the claims handling processes (standard and complex below the key case threshold) from a portfolio perspective.
•   Develops, implements and monitors across all lines of business global KPI's for operational excellence driving the loss ratio in standard and complex claims including key sub processes such as Subrogation and Vendor Management.
•   Reinforces, implements and monitors Functional Rules KPIs and dashboards.
•   Ensures that changes in the patterns of small and medium sized losses (severity and/or frequency) are tracked and analyzed in collaboration with Underwriting to support the profitability of the respective line of business.
•   Aligns with Global Lines of Business Heads (CUO C/S) providing Claims input for reduction/growth plans.
•   Supports in Global Claims Capability Management; eg coordinates the development of the technical profile of the global claims organization mapping the requirements based on portfolio analysis
•   Systems: robust knowledge of AGCS (Allianz Global Corporate and Speciality) Claims platform landscape and its functionalities

•  Approx. 5 years of experience in Claims.
•  Experience in international insurance and / or Reinsurance.
•  Experience of working internationally with strong ability for cross border adaption.
•  Relevant university degree or insurance qualification.

•  Claims Handling: Deep knowledge of claims handling processes from notification to settlement and recovery, also subrogation and vendor management
•  Products & Coverages: understanding in relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages.
•  Knowledge of creating/analyzing reports, especially with tools such as Excel and / or Power Point
•  Communication & Presentation: Ability to express ideas and messages clearly, both written and verbally. Ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story.
