Junior Accounting and Reporting Analyst - IFRS 9 Project

Your Mission

As a Junior Accounting and Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for the accounting and reporting activities for the French entities of Societe Generale European Business Services.

Your Role in a Nutshell:

• Preparation of the trial balance and posting manual entries
• Review and reconciliation of accounts on a periodic basis
• Controlling the data quality/insure accounting adjustments are done during the reporting period
• Analysis of outstanding items on suspense / sundry accounts
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages (balance sheet, profit and loss, off balance sheet)
• Preparation of inter-company reconciliations (monthly)
• Calculation and interpretation of financial ratios (liquidity, risk etc)
• Assure good relationship with internal and external auditors
• Participate to projects launched within the Finance function
• Continuously improve the processes under his/her own responsability
• Update internal procedures 

A little about You:

• You are an Academy of Economic Studies graduate, preferably Finance/Accounting
• You are familiar with IFRS
• You have 1-2 Years of relevant experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting and have been implicated in consolidation reporting
• You are an advanced French and English speaker; You have an advanced level of Excel
