Senior Content Writer (with German)

IBM Client Innovation Center Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) was established in 2012 by joining several centers in Europe. The Delivery Center is part of a global network of 80 similar centers and uses the best IBM methods of work, global processes and techniques. The center has achieved CMMI Level 5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and its mission is to provide customers with software solution customized to their global business needs.

• Writing and content organization in English and German;
• Proficiency in German and English, preferably being native speaker;
• Editing for clarity and accuracy;
• Ability to work with SMEs and project leaders to understand a given subject and provide accurate content on that subject;
• Ability to prioritize;
• Experience with personal computers and tools such as word processing programs, e-mail, and Web browsers;
• Intimate knowledge of style manuals;
• Ability to apply editorial guidelines and standards;
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to produce quality work and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment to meet aggressive schedules;

• Expertise in writing and revising copy and headlines for a wide range of deliverables including Web sites, sales collateral, training and instruction, and product data sheets.
• Understanding of how marketing content should be organized to achieve maximum impact. Create written content for multiple purposes including Web, sales collateral, technical data sheets, and training and instruction.
• Work closely with team leaders, client subject matter experts, writers, and designers to achieve a high level of quality in the end-product, including; ensuring the timeliness, completeness, correctness, and overall quality of content.
• Contribute to weekly status meetings.
• Knowledge of latest trends in writing and ability to apply internal editorial guidelines and standards.
