Senior Software Developer - Integration Technology

Our Technologies R&D team is responsible with working on new technologies prototypes that will one day be included in the existing Bitdefender portfolio. The aim is to find and validate new ideas and technologies that will improve the standards in terms of security and privacy of the existing product line. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic software developer to join our team, who’s willing to learn new technologies, face new and complex product architectures and innovate new security and product designs.

Any member of this team will be involved in a wide range of projects and will impact the entire product architecture of the company’s current portfolio.

Requirements:

- Good experience with any of the following languages: C++, C# (or any other .Net counterpart), Java.
- Familiar with PHP and JavaScript or any other web development counterpart is a plus.
- Not a stranger to design patterns and architectural principles.
- Familiar with both distributed and centralized versioning systems (Mercurial/Git/SVN/Perforce)
- Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (KVM, Xen, etc)
- Development experience on any of the following platforms: Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS, Android.

- You will research and investigate new technologies either in house or from 3rd party vendors/sources
- You will be responsible with implementing PoCs for all studied/evaluated/researched technologies and will have to validate them within existing product lines and architectures
- You will work together with the team lead to submit product design documents to the software architects
- You will contribute to the overall solution architecture
- You will learn new technologies and you will be working on various platforms
