To build a professional team of QA Engineers in our local Timisoara office, we are looking for a QA Manager.

The QA Manager's role is to ensure the company’s products meet total quality management standards and reliability standards. The QA Manager will also research and implement new or improved testing methods, process, tools and systems. In this role, the QA Manager will also be involved in hiring and maintaining a highly trained staff, driving and mentoring them.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Manage and coordinate the development and approval of detailed test plans that present the goals of testing, test systems and a final schedule;
• Manage personnel activities of staff (e.g. hire, train, appraise, reward, motivate, discipline, etc);
• Research, document and implement new testing tools to maximize efficiency;
• Proactively participate in agile planning and execution process with development and product management;
• Manage and perform testing and leadership tasks on all cross-product projects, including test plans, test cases, etc.;
• Makes sure product test cycle is as automated as possible;
• Help perform testing of complex projects;
• Ensure that new and existing components being released are reliable, defect free, and function as documented;
• Mentor QA Engineers with ongoing technical and application training and support;
• Interact with support or customers as needed (test cases, reviews, troubleshooting).

Your abilities need to be:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience;
• Mandatory experience in software quality assurance in both front and back-end;
• Between two to five years team leadership/management experience;
• Excellent management skills with the ability to effectively direct and drive the company’s quality assurance team to put forth a quality product;
• Excellent knowledge of the software development process in an agile environment;
• Extensive background in SQA methodologies, experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites in an agile environment;
• Good SQL knowledge;
• Experience with mobile development technologies & testing;
• Strong problem solving abilities and communication skills;
• Proven ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects;
• Excellent English written & verbal communication skills.

It would be also good to have:

• Experience with test case management tool;
• Experience with Web API testing tools (POSTMAN, Fiddler, SoapUI).;
• Experience in Test Automation tools (Jmeter, Selenium, Loader.IO, etc.);
• Experience with some of the following technologies: C#, Perl, Python, Bash, JavaScript, HTML, Ajax, secure Web transactions, CSS, XML, .Net, etc.
