BI/ ETL Support Developer

The IT Department of Ubisoft is currently seeking a Support Developer specialized in Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouse solutions. You will join the current team in Bucharest, working in cooperation with our NCSA teams.
Typical examples of technologies used are SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Informatica PowerCenter and SSIS. In this job role, the Support Developer will work closely with the Reporting Developers as well as with our internal clients.

Your profile
Mandatory:
- University diploma in IT related field or proven experience in the BI domain.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including writing SQL and stored procedures code.
- Experience in developing ETL processes with Data from various sources.
- Clear understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data design and development techniques.
- Experience with data warehouse lifecycles
- Must be fluent in English (both spoken and written).
- Strong communication skills.

Nice to have:
- Experience with other reporting and analytic presentation tools and technologies such as Business Objects XI, Cognos, ProClarity
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Ab Initio
- Experience on business analysis
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Available to travel abroad

Your tasks
- Ensure 3rd level support for Ubisoft's internal BI applications (Data Warehouse, Informatica, etc)
- Provide technical assistance for support requests
- Design, develop and maintain ETL jobs and related data warehouse models/objects/systems
- Work closely with reporting developers and administrators to streamline data flows between internal/external systems and the data warehouse
- Have good understanding of user requirements and functional specifications.
- Identify long-term solutions, propose and suggest the most suitable alternatives
- Ensure that all development projects are well documented.
