Mission

- The Technology Category Management organization is a corporate centralized function within Global Operations in charge of identifying, analyzing and implementing data changes on components along with driving process evolution, exploratory and continuous/daily improvement programs.

- Leads the Data team to deliver on commitments involving Enovia/SAP/PDM based applications for technical and environmental data gathering & maintenance including also component change and obsolescence management.

- Equip with the understanding of component, environmental and substance technologies, the Team Leader ensures timely evaluations and data maintenance of the technical properties, Material Declarations and Conflict-Free requirements.

- Develops and fosters a team environment that motivates, challenges and empowers individuals to excel in delivering to commitments while encouraging and succeeding in going above and beyond.

- As the business evolves, the team leader must easily adopt and apply new methods of operation in a quick and efficient manner

- Promotes successes while challenging team using Key Performance Indicators and self-improvement techniques

- Continuously learns and expands personal network to identify and implement recommended team and project improvement programs

-Effectively applies the latest team building techniques to brainstorm and identify areas to automate and work more efficiently.

Technical background
 

o Experience in data mining techniques and procedures

o Expertise to acquire, manage, manipulate, analysis, report and correct technical component related data

o Technical expertise regarding data models and database design development. An understanding of XML and SQL

o Proficient in practical tools such as Excel, Access, and relational DB’s

o Knowledge of statistics

o Electrical/Electronics technical background

Education & Experience
 

- Engineering or technical background combined with a Business/Management degree with at least 5 years of recently demonstrated experience in team management.
