General Purpose

We are looking for a passionate software developer that values team-work, collaboration and with a continuous improvement mindset.

Main Responsibility Area

As a software developer, you will be part of a SCRUM team that is responsible for developing one of Nokia Global Services strategic tools.

Position Description

You will be a full-stack software developer actively involved in analysis, design, code & unit test, system testing up to deployment, customer support, documentation and training.

This is a two-year temporary position.

Position Requirements
 

BS degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Informatics, Telecommunications or similar

Proficient in at least one Object Oriented Programming language (e.g. C#, C++, Java, Scala)

Proficient in at least one Software Configuration Management system (e.g. MS TFS, GitLab)

Web Development frameworks experience: e.g. MVC, Java EE

Good understanding of Object Oriented Design rinciples and Patterns

Good understanding of software quality principles and metrics

Good understanding of data structures and algorithms

Good understanding of different types of testing principles and practices

Professional Working Proficiency in English

Nice to Haves
 

Other programming paradigms (e.g. functional programming)

Unit testing, Continuous integration and automation

Web development principles and frameworks: AngularJS, Play, Akka, REST APIs, WebServices

Big data technologies: Apache SPARK, Cassandra, the SMACK stack
