Electrolux Hungary is looking for an Electronics Test and Verification Engineer

Small Appliances Product Development group has an open position for Electronics Test and Verification Engineer.

What you need to have for joining us?

If you are passionate about electronics, you enjoy to analyze electronic components and you are curious to find all the risks and problems before the product launch in order to get happy consumers (no one likes issues when purchasing a product, isn’t it?).

Your responsibilities will include development of tests and verification of battery driven products and electronics working in household environment. Your work is extremely important to take improvements on pre-series and to give input to electronics suppliers and engineers to modify the design. You will also enlarge or build skills and knowledge in EMC, radio frequency control and electric motors driving.

You will be working in our big laboratory of Small Appliances in Jaszbereny and cooperate with electronics development. In the near future you can deal with mobile applications linked to printed circuit boards, all of these by working together with an international developing teams and laboratory network.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Some of the background you should ideally have or you are open to learn about.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or similar
• Preferred to have experience in battery operated control systems, electronic laboratory environment and motor controlled appliances
• EMC knowledge
• Ideally you would have experience in FMEA processes during electronic development, such as DFMEA, PFMEA, OOFMEA etc.
• We’d also prefer you having experience in electronics design, both hardware and software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define and support production test processes, test methods, test plans and equipment related to electronics used in mass production.
• Define, develop and support test methods, test plans for prototypes and pre-series production both in PCBA and system level.
• Assist and support in test and verification of electronics related items.
• Support Power and Electronics with test and verification related activities.
• Evaluate test results and identify problems.
• Together with other functions inside RnD Small Appliances further develop and improve the processes for related technology areas.
• Participate in failure analysis and service workshops.
• Participate in project reviews related to test and verification
