Oracle Database Administrator

Our client is a member of an international retail group, and at the moment they are developing an IT shared services department that will provide second level support to their clients (countries part of the retail group).

Candidate's Profile:

- 2 years of experience working with Oracle databases (administration and monitoring various tasks, backup, SQL queries)
- Experience in support activities ;
- Good interpersonal communications and technical writing skills;
- Structured thinking;
- Language skills: English ;
- Initiative and responsibility;
- Orientation towards results;
- Outstanding analytical abilities, multitasking and result oriented;
- Self-motivated and proactive to solve problems and accomplish assignments;
- Highly reliable, team player.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provides maintenance and monitoring of the databases;
- Extracting information from databases, data consistency checks, corrections, defining specific reports (SQL queries, views, functions and stored procedures);
- Provide support for developers and users of the internal applications
- Analyze and propose solutions to increase database performance
- Provide continuous monitoring of all IT resources and recurring operations
