Sales Consulting activates on the HR market since 1998, having a national coverage in several areas of expertise: recruiting and selection assessment center HR market mapping/due diligence projects, personnel leasing, payroll.

Sales Consulting has 2 fully operational branches: Cluj-Napoca (also the head-office) and Bucharest.
We are developing various projects (Recruitment, Training and Consultancy) in some of the most varied type of industries:
- AUTOMOTIVE/PRODUCTION/ENGINEERING (Specialists and Middle & Top Management positions)
- OUTSOURCING (BPO/SSC/CC)
- IT & C (C++, C#, .NET, Java, Linux etc)
- FMCG (sales & purchasing positions; all levels)
- PHARMA (all levels)

- Masters in mathematics, statistics or computer science or related field;
- PHD degree preferred
- Overall 8+ years’ experience with 5 or more years of relevant quantitative and qualitative research and analytics experience
- Experience of leading team of junior data scientists is preferred but not a criteria for selection
- Good written and communication skills in English is a must
- Proficiency in any other European Language is desirable but not necessary

- Modeling complex business and financial use cases
- Discovering insights from data for making sound organizational decisions and identifying opportunities (efficiency, cost, revenue, fraud, risk and safety, compliance, etc.) through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques
- Identify what data is available and relevant, including internal and external data sources, leveraging new data collection processes (including Machine Data, Social Media, Text, Voice and Video, Geospatial data, Etc.)
- Lead the discovery process to establish business requirements and establish expected outcomes
- Propose new and innovative ways for discovering insight from large sets of data for specific use cases/ business problems
- Ensure data consistency, concurrency and integrability
- Design experiments, test hypotheses, and build models
- Conduct advanced data analysis and create complex designs algorithm using advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques
- Present findings by exposing assumptions and validation
- Understanding of business and processes is required to create and test hypothesis in the discovery phase
- Data Scientists will work closely with client engagement managers, solutions architects, business heads and delivery teams. This position will have client facing responsibilities and will work closely with client sponsors, end-users, data stewards, project/program managers, IT teams in the client organization
- This position requires travelling mostly within Europe and outside Europe on need basis
- Implement advanced analytics concepts such as: Social media analytics, Data-driven marketing, Sales prediction using multichannel (Social, Web, Video, Voice, Etc.) analysis, Retail up-sell/ cross sell using footfall patterns, Opinion mining, Sentiment analysis, Recommender systems, Prognostics, Predictive maintenance, Machine learning, Sequential modeling, Reinforcement learning and Optimization, Predictive analytics, or Event risk modeling
- Statistical Techniques: Modelling and variable selection, Multivariate data analysis, Frequentist linear statistical inference, Computational Bayesian inference, Parallelizing Monte-Carlo (ABC-SMC, pMCMC, Number generation), Etc.
- Modeling: MATLAB, R/ SAS, SPSS, Python
- Hadoop: Flume, Hbase, HDFS, Hive, Hue, MapReduce, Oozie, Pig, Spark, Sqoop, Storm, YARN, Zookeeper
- Database: Cassandra, MongoDB, MSSQL/Oracle, MySQL, Teradata
- Programming: C/C++, JAVA
- Machine Learning: Azure, R, Python-Scikit-learn
