ETL PROGRAMMER

Qualification and Experience:

1. Education: University degree in IT area
2. Seniority :
Minimum 3 year experience, out which:
- in IT (namely within Business Intelligence/DWH): 2 years;
3. Other conditions: English – advanced

Knowledge:

1. Business knowledge
- Knowledge about banking and banking products
- Understanding and knowledge of some business domains

2. Technical knowledge
- SQL, PL/SQL (advanced level), Unix shell programming
- Advanced Knowledge of DI (Data integration) tools, field ETL and Scheduling tools
- Data integration patterns and architecture solutions patterns knowledge
- Knowledge of development processes
- Solid knowledge and experience with data development and Data Warehousing solutions, understanding data warehouse architecture with a dimensional data model
- Basic knowledge of Data Quality and MDM tools (CDI, PIM)
- Modelling and design knowledge as well as knowledge of data modelling products
- Technical and ETL architecture knowledge

3. Experience in relevant corporate background
- Experience with systems development methodologies within a large corporate environment
- Preferable experience in complex environments as far as volumes of data

1. Specific delivery responsibilities

- Is responsible for development, unit testing and documentation of ETL, Data Quality (DQ) and/or Master Data Management (MDM) programs from specifications, and assist in troubleshooting
- Utilize SQL (Oracle), PL/SQL, shell, Java and other programming languages to perform tasks other than data transformation or data quality
- Assist in the analysis and subsequent developments
- Conduct unit tests and assist in test preparations to ensure data integrity, data quality and program quality
- Design and implement technical enhancements of Data Warehouse, Data quality management or MDM solutions as required
- Is responsible for support level 3 activities solving production incidents thus assuring proper continuity of business activities within agreed SLAs.

2. Collaboration and alignment

- Contributes to an efficient communication within the team as well as among other departments.
- Collaborates with other IT division/departments, enterprise architecture, release management and project management units in order to align execution of all necessary steps to deliver the project/CR.
