The next great EA IT Service Technician needs:

• 6+ months of proven experience in similar role or other customer support role, with studies in Computer Science or equivalent
• Tech savvy with working knowledge of desktop systems, workstations, laptops, game consoles and the associated network infrastructure
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

What a IT Service Desk Technician does at EA?

EA Romania is looking for qualified IT Service Technician working for our Site IT Team. The IT Service Technician will have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. This position will tackle multiple tasks, which will require flexibility and the ability to adapt to new challenges. He/she will report directly to the Site IT Manager.
• Provides day-to-day technical support to studio employees for internal desktops, laptop systems, game consoles
• Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, laptops, game consoles and network issues in a heterogeneous environment.
• Day to day tickets resolution.
• Recommends hardware and software solutions including new acquisitions and upgrades.
• Performs basic hardware diagnostics, routine moves, adds and changes.
• Installs, configures and wires up AV devices
• Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
• Maintains and enforces IT policies (Security, Software and Hardware).
• Performs asset tracking and audits.
