Technical project manager

Flex Automotive Design & Engineering works with top automotive companies and has a proven record of bringing to the market high technology, award winning, automotive devices and technologies. Located in Timisoara, a new team will work with the European Lead Design Center based in Stuttgart – Germany. In order to support the expansion of the growing business of automotive business development in Europe we are looking for: Technical Project Manager.

Your will:

• Manage projects of medium to high complexity in order to meet the performance indicators;
• Supervise and controll all PlanView related documentation for the Design Centers in Stuttgart / Timisoara;
• Facilitate continuous communication between Engineering team, Customer, Business development team and Global Program Management office;
• Assist in the development, documentation and communication of policies and standards;
• Ensure that critical processes conform to standards and provide appropriate management reporting;
• Manage projects and resources using PlanView;
• Gather data and generate reports  from Plan View for management to support creation and review of KPI, metrics;

• University degree (Engineering/ Business or similar);
• 3+ years’ experience in a professional, project oriented setting;
• 2+ year experience in Project Management -preferably Technical Projects;.
• Task and milestone tracking; Risk and issue management; Change management;
• Advanced MS Project skills including Gantt charts, cost and resource management;
• Strong MS Excel skills including Pivot Tables and cross-sheet references.
• Strong MS PowerPoint skills;
• Automotive Experience is an asset;
• Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is an asset;
• Plan View Experience is an asset;
• Strong Reporting Skills required;
