IT Project Manager

JLG Consulting is a software development and IT consultancy company with headquarter in Bucharest. The company has highly-qualified expertise in software development for Air Traffic Control applications, delivering safety critical real-time applications for the aviation business worldwide, technical support and expertise in safety management systems and in collaboration with international customers.

• Collaborates with the customer and technical team to define, collect and manage requirements and translate those requirements into business and functional specifications
• Pilots the software development and software maintenance activities to deliver the overall project goals
• Effectively communicates to both internal team and customers to appropriately set expectations and ensure project progress
• Creates and manages the documentation that will be delivered to our customers, ensuring high quality of these deliverables
• Actively participates in the evaluation and improvement of the company’s software processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction

• Strong business analysis skills
• Ability to understand technical vision and communicate it to both technical and non-technical parties
• Solid knowledge of the Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience in delivering technical documentation
• Ability to identify project risks and implement mitigation and preventive actions
• Willing to travel abroad to attend meetings and presentations with our customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of software development practices and methodologies (Agile) is a plus
• Experience with Issue Tracking software (Jira, YouTrack, Trello) is a plus
