Technical Project Buyer (Engineer)

- Engineer / Master of science in a relevant technical field;
- Minimum two years experience in Design/ Maintenance background; experience in procurement of technical equipment and services would be a plus ;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, results oriented, open-minded, analytical & combining conceptual insight with a hands-on approach;
- International focus and your ‘intellectual curiosity’ is a drive to improve step by step;
- Customer oriented;
- Strong communication skills;
- Good negotiation skills (internal customers, suppliers);
- Knowledge English language is required. Knowledge of any additional language is considered a plus;
- Willingness to travel

- Set up together with the project engineers and the internal customers the procurement coordination procedures (task/ roles matrix, approval workflow, hold points);
- Source “technical products/services” such as valves, control cabinets, insulation materials, raw materials;
- Work with project engineers to generate request for quotation (RFQ) for products;
- Ensure that proper documentation of the purchase is included;
- Contract management, including close cooperation with the project team and main contractor(s), follow-up of all contractual aspects, negotiation, administration and close out activities.
