2D Lead Artist

Our client is building a new type of social mobile game, of AAA-type quality, to motivate people to stay active and live better! So they are looking for a 2D Lead Artist confident in his/her ability to help them to create beautiful game settings and characters.

Requirements
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in art leadership positions
Highly collaborative, able to bridge and unite stakeholders from all disciplines.
Strong understanding of digital content creation tools such as Photoshop
Excellent illustration skills, deep understanding of composition, anatomy, color theory, form, shape language, and silhouette
Willing to learn and work in a start-up environment

Willingness to complete art test if required

Responsibilities
Drive the visual creation of the characters, scenes and maps.
Provide day to day direction for the environment art team.
Provide guidance during creative discussions with design and production leads.
Partner with production to ensure schedules and plans meet business needs.
Work closely with game design to ensure art enhances the player experience
Partner with company management to ensure team is healthy and strong.
