At least 2 years working experience with Symfony.

- Ability to design and implement new projects;
- Where appropriate, implements and supports cost effective consolidation and virtualization IT infrastructure solutions, to reduce the ongoing costs;
- Ensures that infrastructure systems and services are implemented in accordance with standard industry and documented accordingly;
- Ensures data-centre resources are planned and managed effectively, and where appropriate developed in line with changing service requirements;
- Ensures the most efficient and effective environments and associated monitoring systems are provided for data-centre systems and services;
- Ensures the appropriate security standards are implemented and associated resources, infrastructures, etc.;
- Designs, implements and supports resilient infrastructures for backup/recovery and disaster recovery;
- Ensures that effective capacity planning and configuration management is maintained for IT infrastructure;
- Liaises with other groups and teams to ensure that infrastructure provision is effective, efficient and meets requirements;
- Liaises and works with vendors on the provision of new infrastructure technologies and solutions;
- Works collaboratively with CEO and project managers in transitioning projects to fully supported production services;
- Ensures that colleagues, customers, sponsors and stakeholders have a clear view of progress, issues, risks and inter dependencies relating to operational plans and projects.
- Responsible for the analysis of the requirements with the support of the business users;
- Ensures adherence to the project plan by all project participants;
- Assesses and manages the risks and issues associated with the provision, management and support of IT;
- Responsible for ensuring efficient and on time implementation of projects assigned;
- Participates in weekly meetings;
- Contributes to the development and implementation of strategies for IT and its operations, in line with best practice.
