Industrial Engineer

- University degree in industrial engineering, or equivalent;
- 2-5 years engineering experience, preferably in express, warehouse, logistics or transport industries;
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing processes, improving service delivery and achieving cost-unit reductions;
- Proficient in MS Office and Visio;
- Fluent in English (other foreign languages are a plus);
- Knowledge of automated parcel sort systems and warehouse material handling processes is a plus;
- Knowledge of Kaizen and TQM continuous improvement programmes and techniques (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus;
- Working knowledge of technical drawing software, such as Autocad, is a plus;
- Experience with project management (PMI, Prince2 certifications are a plus);
- Experience in multicultural environments;
- A flexible approach to work and frequent travel.

- Successful implementation of engineered solutions that meet the requirements of standardisation, operational performance, service delivery and cost reduction;
- Successful implementation of standard processes, standard times and of the capital expenditure project plan, from the start phase (capex approval) to preparation-for-implementation phase;
- Implementing the innovative solutions and industry-leading practices, and also the development projects and initiatives;
- Deliver on-time consistently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and changing priorities, with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

Conditions:

- Otopeni- based role, but it requires frequent travel across Europe.
- Determined employment contract – 1 year (first phase);
