As a HW design engineer in the Transmission ASIC team you will:
* Create and optimize ASIC modules or complex schematics based on the customer requirements and new technology trends
* Calculate the electrical parameters for proper circuit functionality;
* Manual and automated testing of the ASIC's samples;
* Develop the automated test sequences;
* Cooperate with the customer project development teams worldwide (transmission projects) in supporting them in the integration of the developed ASIC's and modules in customer projects.
* Support the layout design of the developed circuits, coordination of the sample PCB production.
* Cooperate with the project team to reach common project targets. Common used tools in Hardware Design are: OrCAD, PSpice, Zucken, MathCAD, Minitab, Labview A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
* University degree e.g. Electronics, Automation, Telecommunications etc.
* Good electronics knowledge;
* Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design techniques;
* Knowledge of using measurement equipments and design tools;
* Fluency in English;
* Soft skills: result orientation, good communication skills, ability to analyze and organize, team player.
