    The Software Support Analyst’s role requires the use of advanced skills in SAP Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server and/or OOP to troubleshoot and support our company’s applications, deliver support remotely to end users at customers’ locations on the software products produced by the company, and help customers’ fulfill their business objectives. There may be an occasion where an on-site customer visit is required. AMCS Group Support hours extend from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM ET, and this position is expected to work during the 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM ET shift.


    •Field incoming questions from end users to resolve application issues within their mission critical software systems.
    •Document all pertinent end user identification information, including customer company, end user name, contact information, and nature of problem or issue, entering this information into our Customer Resource Management software.
    •Prioritize, schedule, and administer all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.
    •Remotely perform application updates at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems.
    •Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.
    •Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including Management, Development, Sales teams and other co-workers.
    •Handle after-hours emergency support calls when needed and provide on-call / standby support on a scheduled, rotating basis.
    •Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
    •Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.

    Candidate should possess advanced Microsoft SQL skills commensurate with at least three years’ experience creating data-mining scripts, database administration and general SQL versatility.
