QA Automation Engineer

P.I.Works provides performance monitoring and optimizaton services for wireless operators. P.I.Works improves the customer experience and capacity efficiency by using its proprietary tools for delivery of its services.

* University degree preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or Telecommunications related (subject matter experts will also be considered)
* Minimum 2 years experience in related position and software testing methodologies is a must
* Experience with developing test automation projects is a must, preferably in web applications using Oracle database
* Having fluency on at least one programming language: C#, JAVA, C++, Python etc. preferably using Selenium Web Driver
* PL/SQL and basic Oracle administration is preferred
* Fundamental JavaScript, CSS and HTML knowledge is required
* Ability and experience to create test documents on the basis of engineering specifications
* Willingness to work in an agile company environment focused on results
* Experience on measuring Software Quality
* Excellent written and oral communication skills (English is a must, other languages are a plus)

* Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes
* Plan, develop, execute and report automation software procedures for continuous testing purposes
* Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs
* Design, implement, document, and maintain test environments and test automation systems. Improve and extend test frameworks and automated test sets
* Manage follow up including fix verification, updating bug tracking JIRA System and verify fixes
* Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source
* Collaborate with R&D, PM or customer support departments to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions and recommend on software usability and functionality
* Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance
* Assisting in the development of quality standards regarding testing process and its monitoring
