Quality engineer (metrologic and materials)

Thanks to its business units’ high specialization in the different application areas from major to small domestic appliances and from comfort conditioning to the industrial market, Zoppas Industries Heating Element Technologies has solid competence and steady innovation in developing tubular heaters, cartridges and band heaters, etched foil, heating cables, stitched wire heating elements, finned aluminium heaters, functional assemblies, and electronic controls.

 at least three-four years of experience with leading international companies in the component approval business area;
 advanced theoretical quality competences (ex. CMK, CPK);
 technical drawings interpretation competences and ability to define components control plans;
 advance knowledge of components, materials and technologies (e.g. steel, wire resistive metallic component,..);
 operational capabilities in running tests and measures of medium/high complexity (3D measurement machines);
 chemical and electrical materials regulatory expertise (EU directives, ROHS specifications, REACH,…);
 interfacing skills with Italian and Romanian vendors/ internal bodies;
 IT systems knowledge (SAP, Office Suite, Minitab);
 English advanced level is mandatory, Italian would be an advantage.

 carry out and ensure the entire components approval process in terms of:
o documentation evaluation;
o perform tests / measurements;
o interpretation of results;
o corporations interaction to find discrepancies solutions;
o control plane definition on the component (with the compiling of the information systems);
o interfacing with Production for material testing production;
o closure of the process;
 coordinate and supervise the proper approval process execution of junior employees.
