Production Engineer

University degree (Technical, Food Industry area);
The ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non compliance, good "soft Skills", communications etc.;
The ability to maintain a safe working environment through proper housekeeping and safety practices;
The ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment.
The ability to set effective and challenging objectives;
Total Performance Management (TPM) knowledge would be a plus;
Good system operating skills – Ms Office , SAP- would be a plus;
Good command of English – written and spoken;
Good experience level in a similar position.

Train and motivate team members according with TPM requirements;
Coach employees to fulfill and exceed the requirements of the job through Continuous Improvement approach;
Ensure that there is an adequate distribution of skills to enable effective TPM implementation;
Form and coordinate the operator teams per shift according to production plan;
Enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs) by all personnel within the shift;
Ensure compliance with the internal and legal food safety procedures and regulations (Nestle Quality Policy, Nestle Quality Management System –including ISO 22000, HACCP, QMS, etc.);
Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order including all installations in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
Check and enforce personnel hygiene & safety e.g. protective clothing (uniform), shoe change & hand wash;
Ensure continuous line Controls and immediate corrective action to assure prescribed quality and to ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions;
Ensure ongoing smooth operations of factory through effective employee relations management.
Participate in ensuring timely launch of new products to the Market as per agreed with the business unit.
Ensure adequate maintenance of the installations in coordination with quality and engineering;
Provide daily production reports;
Run “Daily Operational Review” meeting;.
